| Whats new for '98: Dual sliding doors were added to the standard wheelbase Silhouette. Front airbags were now second generation and side airbags were added for front occupants. Second row captians chairs became an option on all models, except the GLS where they were already standard. A gold trim package becomes available mid-year.  |

| Biggest News: Silhouette was now capable of carrying up to eight passengers. Available on the GS and GL models, the seating consisted of three modular seats in the second row and a three passenger 50/50 split bench in the third row. | ||
