Bob Kerr's 1907 3hp. Olds/Seager engine
This is a picture of my 1907 Olds/ Seager stationary engine. It is 3 HP.
It has all original factory paint. This engine runs exellent! Engines like
this were used for running machines in areas that did not have electricity to
run electric motors. They would typicly run washing machines, water
pumps,saws for cutting firewood, grinders for corn and other grains, and
anything else that you would use an electric motor for today. I use it
occasionally to cut firewood to burn in the evaporator furnace when I make
maple syrup!
