| Whats new for '83: Quite unusual for the time, Ciera returned with no real changes. Base coupe and sedan had been discontinued, but there was a sporty new ES model available. One visual change however, was a wider B-pillar on coupe models, though early models were the same as '82. New options included a digital instrument cluster and trunk mounted luggage rack. Rallye wheels were discontinued. .
