The car, a 1972 Olds Cutlass Conv. was purchased by my wife as a present for our 17th wedding anniversary. I digress, As a youth I owned a 1972 Olds Cutlass 4dr hardtop and dreamed of one day getting a 2dr convertible. I've done nothing to the outside (With the exception of excessive polishing) the interior is now leather, not vinyl. I've updated the ignition with a magnetic pickup and an MSD box and hot coil. I've just recently returned from Michigan where I purchased an original Olds Posi rearend w/ boxed lowers, sway bar and 3.23 gears. I'm sure that by spring time the new/reworked rearend will find it's way into "Gordo" - My sons name for the car.
