Whats new for '81: After recieving a trimmer silhouette for '80, Ninety-Eight's return for '81 with only minimal styling changes. The most noticable bieng a new grille design, which features six squares on each side of the center divider. Cast-aluminum wheels are a new option, which will only be available in '81. The automatic transmission now has four forward speeds for improved fuel economy. Added sound deadeners reduce interior noise levels. |

Biggest News: One year after going from standard to optional, the 350 gas engine is gone altogether. 307 is now optional and a 4.1 Buick V6 is now standard. Diesel 350 is still available. |
