1980 Ninety-Eight

Whats new for '80:
Sheetmetal is slightly reshaped for better wind resistance. Parking lamps are now located in the front bumper. Rooflines are more formal, especially on coupes. Halogen headlamps are a new option. Side-lift jack locations are new. Chrome wheels are no longer available. LS models are no longer available as a coupe, leaving only the LS sedan.

Biggest News:
403 V8 has been eliminated. The previously standard 350 V8 is now optional, and a new 307 is the standard powerplant.

Identifying an '80:
For '80 the grille consists of five columns of rectangles by four high. The same grille would later be used on the '85 Delta 88 Royale Brougham and LS.
